Sustainability Consulting: Assistant Manager – EY Sustainability Consulting

Role Overview

• Project Management – Lead multiple sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.
• Business Development – Identify opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support client relationship management.
• Carbon Market Expertise – Advise on voluntary carbon markets (Verra, Gold Standard), carbon credit development, and trading strategies.
• Environmental Assessment – Conduct environmental impact assessments and integrate findings into sustainability strategies.
• Market Assessment and Reporting: Knowledge of current Sustainability Reporting Standards like GRI, TCFD, IFRS S1 &S2. Also Base knowledge of how green technologies are emerging at sectorial level.
• Team Leadership – Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional workstreams.
• Previous Sustainability Experience: Similar experience in sustainability or business consulting or Sustainability position is preferred.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sustainability, , Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or related roles.
  • Proven experience in carbon markets and environmental assessments.
  • Strong project management and business development skills.

Skill Requirements:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work on complex data sets.
• Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of GHG Protocol, IFRS S1 & S2, GRI, Science-Based Targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This role will is based in Lahore.
