Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for grouting (cleaning, chipping, pressure washing, etc.)
- Mix cementitious, epoxy, polyurethane, or chemical grout according to manufacturer specifications
- Operate grout pumps, mixers, injection equipment, and related tools
- Perform pressure grouting, injection grouting, and void filling
- Monitor grout flow, pressure, and curing process
- Inspect completed grouting work for quality and compliance
- Repair cracks, joints, and structural defects using appropriate grouting methods
- Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in safe working condition
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Document work performed and report to supervisors or site engineers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
- Experience in construction, civil works, or industrial maintenance
- Knowledge of grout materials and mixing ratios
- Ability to operate grouting pumps and injection systems
- Understanding of safety standards (OSHA or local regulations)
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined or elevated spaces
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions
