JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the design and execution of data-driven growth initiatives aimed at optimizing user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across Gathern’s platform. The Head of Growth is responsible for managing the growth team, driving rapid experimentation, and improving key metrics through a structured, hypothesis-driven approach aligned with business objectives.

Own the growth strategy and roadmap focused on scalable and sustainable user and host growth.
- Manage full-funnel growth efforts across key stages: awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and referral.
- Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, market trends, and customer behavior insights.
- Design and run structured A/B tests and growth experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and marketing teams to implement growth initiatives.
- Optimize onboarding flows, booking journeys, and user/host engagement tactics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track performance and guide decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional growth sprints to drive rapid implementation of ideas.
- Evaluate and prioritize growth initiatives based on impact, effort, and alignment with goals.
- Manage and mentor the growth team, ensuring clarity of objectives and ownership of KPIs.
- Drive continuous iteration through agile experimentation and feedback loops.
- Build scalable acquisition and activation engines through product-led growth and automation.
- Own key growth metrics including CAC, activation rate, retention rate, and conversion rates.
- Develop frameworks to understand customer segmentation and lifecycle behavior.
- Create systems to track and improve virality, referral loops, and organic growth levers.
- Contribute to strategic planning and provide regular performance insights to executive leadership.
- Ensure alignment between growth initiatives and overall brand, user experience, and company values.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s is a plus.
- 9+ years of experience in growth, product, or digital marketing roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Experience running growth experiments and A/B testing frameworks.
- Understanding of user behavior, funnel optimization, and lifecycle marketing principles.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence product, tech, and design teams.
- Proven ability to manage high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in Arabic and English
