Job Description
- Client Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with legal professionals, partners, GCs, and other key decision-makers.
- Selling Consultative: Understand the unique legal needs of each client and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives, leveraging our range of legal services.
- Sales Strategy:
- Design, develop and execute growth strategies tailored to legal services markets (e.g., law firms, corporate legal departments, legal tech clients).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, RFPs, and direct outreach.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed on our full range of legal services, ensuring the ability to present the most relevant solutions to potential clients.
- Negotiation & Closing: Create compelling business proposals, pitch materials, and thought leadership campaigns.
- Market Insights: Analyze legal market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and provide feedback.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with partners and business development team to develop client targeting and cross-selling strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, legal, and business development teams on campaigns and events.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within:
- Law firms
- Professional services
- Consultancy or legal services-related environments
- Proven experience in B2B consultative selling, preferably to corporates, GCs, or decision-makers.
- Prior experience working with corporate & commercial legal services is a strong advantage.
- Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the legal services market, including how law firms operate.
- Ability to understand, articulate, and position complex legal services to non-legal clients.
- Familiarity with RFP processes, proposal drafting, and pitch presentations.
