About the role
We’re hiring a hands-on marketing leader to own and scale our entire marketing function—strategy, execution, content, and team building. You’ll oversee all marketing decisions and responsibilities across digital and traditional channels, with one clear goal: increase brand awareness, generate demand for our products and services, and grow our online presence across all avenues.
This role is ideal for someone who can think like a strategist, execute like a builder, and lead like an operator—setting direction, creating systems, hiring talent, and delivering measurable results.
What you’ll own
- Marketing strategy & planning: Create and lead an integrated marketing plan across digital, social, content, email, SEO, paid ads, and traditional marketing where it makes sense.
- Brand & positioning: Define messaging, offers, and positioning for our products/services and key customer segments.
- Content & media: Lead the production of high-performing content (videos, product imagery, reels, case studies, before/after, tutorials, testimonials). Create a content pipeline with clear weekly deliverables.
- Paid acquisition: Oversee and optimize Meta/Google/YouTube/TikTok/retargeting campaigns (or manage an agency). Own budget, ROAS, CAC, and lead quality.
- Social media & community: Build and manage a consistent presence across platforms; develop posting standards, engagement routines, and growth initiatives.
- Website & conversion: Improve website content and conversion (landing pages, product pages, forms, funnels). Partner with web/dev to implement tracking and CRO improvements.
- Email/SMS & retention: Build lifecycle marketing (follow-ups, promotions, win-backs, nurture sequences).
- Marketing operations & analytics: Implement tracking, dashboards, and reporting (GA4, Meta pixel/CAPI, UTM standards, CRM attribution). Provide weekly performance reports and clear next actions.
- Team building: Hire and manage a marketing team over time (content creator/editor, designer, ads specialist, SEO/content writer, etc.) and/or manage vendors/agencies.
- Partner marketing: Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations to align promos, launches, and product priorities with revenue goals.
Success metrics (KPIs)
- Increased qualified leads / inquiries (weekly and monthly targets)
- Improved conversion rate on website/landing pages
- Growth in organic traffic, search rankings, and local visibility
- Paid ads efficiency: ROAS, CPL, CAC, lead quality
- Social growth: reach, engagement, follower growth, content output consistency
- Marketing pipeline health: content cadence, campaign cadence, reporting cadence
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years in marketing with proven results (B2B, construction, lighting, e-commerce, or distribution is a plus)
- Comfortable owning both strategy and execution
- Strong experience with:
- Paid ads (Meta + Google; TikTok/YouTube a plus)
- Content strategy + creative direction (video and visual)
- SEO + website optimization fundamentals
- Analytics/tracking (GA4, pixels, UTMs, attribution basics)
- Leadership ability: hiring, managing, coaching, and building repeatable systems
- Strong communication, project management, and vendor management skills
- Bias for action, testing, and measurable outcomes
Tools you’ll likely use
Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, email/SMS platform, Canva/Adobe, CapCut/Premiere, CRM, project management tools (Asana/Trello), and reporting dashboards.
