Growth & Marketing Lead

Timings: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Night Shift – US Hours)

About the Role
SMB Services is hiring a Founding Marketing Lead / Growth & Marketing Lead for a US-based healthcare technology client operating in the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
In this role, marketing is the growth engine and credibility engine of the company. The organization sells into pharmaceutical market access, patient support, and specialty pharmacy teams. Buyers are sophisticated, compliance-driven, and risk-aware. Winning requires clarity, trust, precision, and strong execution.
As the first and only marketing hire, you will build and execute the marketing function from the ground up. You will not inherit a team or a fully built funnel. This role is designed for a highly hands-on operator who is comfortable owning execution end-to-end while operating in ambiguity.
This position requires deep, practical experience using modern AI-powered marketing, outbound, and sales tools in daily workflows.
What You Will Own & Execute
LinkedIn & Social Presence
- Manage LinkedIn strategy and execution end-to-end
- Turn leadership insights and customer learnings into high-quality social content
- Execute campaigns supporting demand generation and thought leadership
Outbound & Email Lead Generation
- Design and execute outbound email campaigns targeting pharmaceutical buyers
- Build, test, and refine messaging sequences
- Own lead generation strategy using tools such as Apollo or similar platforms
- Manage list building, segmentation, sequencing, and personalization
- Continuously optimize outreach based on open rates, reply rates, and pipeline impact
Marketing Tools & Growth Stack Ownership
- Select, configure, and optimize marketing and sales tools
- Manage email automation platforms and outbound systems
- Ensure alignment between outbound tools and Salesforce
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize for conversion
Salesforce & Marketing Operations
- Own Salesforce from a marketing and growth perspective
- Set up campaigns, attribution models, reporting, and dashboards
- Build visibility into funnel performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
- Ensure clean and disciplined handoffs between marketing and sales
AI-Native Marketing & GTM Execution
- Operate as an AI-native marketer, integrating AI into daily workflows
- Build repeatable AI-enabled systems for:
- Content creation and iteration
- Personalization at scale
- Outbound experimentation
- Funnel analytics and performance tracking
- Evaluate and implement modern GTM tools independently
AI is expected to change how you work — not just what tools you use.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 5–10+ years of hands-on marketing experience
- Mandatory: Experience marketing to pharmaceutical companies
- Strong understanding of:
- Pharma market access workflows
- Patient support programs (PSP)
- Copay, affordability, adherence, or specialty pharmacy ecosystems
- Strong experience with email lead generation platforms (e.g., Apollo or similar tools)
- Experience in early-stage or scaling healthcare SaaS companies preferred
AI & Tooling (Non-Negotiable)
- Daily user of AI tools within marketing operations
- Experience building AI-enabled outbound or growth systems
- Comfortable selecting and optimizing modern GTM tools independently
- Able to demonstrate measurable AI-driven impact in prior roles
