Growth Marketing Manager

What You'll Do

Revenue & yield optimization

  • Own revenue targets, including occupancy rates, revenue per available court-hour, and average booking value
  • Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies — peak/off-peak, seasonal, and demand-based — to maximize yield without hurting utilization
  • Identify underperforming time slots, locations, and sports, and build targeted campaigns to fill them
  • Partner with the operations team to align capacity, scheduling, and pricing

Funnel & conversion optimization

  • Map and optimize the full customer journey — from first touch to booking to repeat visit
  • Run continuous experiments across landing pages, the booking flow, promotional offers, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Reduce drop-off at every funnel stage and improve conversion from app/web visit to confirmed booking
  • Build and own retention loops: win-back campaigns, loyalty incentives, membership models, and referral mechanics

Events & programming

  • Build a recurring events and tournaments calendar that drives bookings, fills off-peak hours, and creates community
  • Design and launch leagues, tournaments, social events, and corporate packages as activation and revenue drivers
  • Measure event ROI and double down on what works

Activation channels

  • Own and optimize all activation channels: paid social, search, CRM/email, SMS, push notifications, partnerships, and on-the-ground activations
  • Manage marketing budgets across channels and report on CAC, ROAS, and contribution to revenue
  • Build local partnerships (corporates, schools, communities, sports groups) that drive consistent demand
  • Test new channels and tactics, kill what doesn't work, scale what does

AI & automation

  • Use AI tools to work faster and smarter — content creation, campaign copy, creative testing, audience research, and reporting
  • Build automated workflows across the funnel: lead nurturing, booking reminders, win-back sequences, and lifecycle messaging
  • Automate recurring reporting and dashboards so the team spends less time pulling data and more time acting on it
  • Continuously identify manual, repetitive tasks and replace them with scalable systems
  • Stay ahead of new AI and martech tools, and bring the best ones into the team's workflow

Team leadership

  • Hire, build, and lead a high-performing growth marketing team as the function scales
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and priorities for the team, and hold them accountable to outcomes
  • Coach and develop team members — channel specialists, content, events, and analytics talent
  • Create a culture of experimentation, ownership, and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage workload, delegation, and structure so the team operates efficiently and scales sustainably

Analytics & reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking the metrics that matter — occupancy, revenue, funnel conversion, CAC, LTV, retention
  • Deliver clear weekly and monthly reporting to leadership with insights and recommended actions
  • Use data to prioritize where to focus next

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or revenue-focused marketing roles — ideally with experience in marketplaces, consumer apps, hospitality, fitness, leisure, or other capacity/occupancy-driven businesses
  • Experience hiring, managing, or leading a team — or a clear, demonstrated readiness to step into a leadership role
  • A genuine growth mindset: you run experiments, you measure everything, and you make decisions based on data, not opinions
  • Strong commercial instinct — you understand unit economics and you think about revenue, not just leads or impressions
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok), CRM/lifecycle tools, and analytics platforms
  • Fluency with AI tools and a track record of using automation to work more efficiently
  • Comfort with funnel analysis, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization
  • Experience planning and executing events, tournaments, or community programming is a strong plus
  • Excellent analytical skills — fluent in spreadsheets and dashboards; SQL or BI tool experience is a bonus
  • Self-starter who can own outcomes end-to-end and work cross-functionally with operations, product, and sales
  • Knowledge of the GCC sports, fitness, or leisure landscape is an advantage
  • Arabic language skills are a plus
