Locals Cannabis Dispensary is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution across our two most critical growth levers: Loyalty & Retention and SEO & Local Search, with paid digital marketing as a secondary area of focus.

This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer who understands how customers discover us, why they return, and how to grow repeat, profitable revenue in a regulated retail environment. You will work directly with ownership and senior leadership to turn insights into action across our Columbus and Cincinnati dispensaries.

We recognize that deep expertise in every channel is rare. The ideal candidate is strong in loyalty/CRM and SEO, with curiosity and working knowledge of paid marketing within compliance constraints.

Core Focus Areas1. Loyalty & Retention (Primary Focus)

  • Own and optimize loyalty program structure, economics, and performance
  • Increase customer frequency, retention, and lifetime value
  • Build segmentation and lifecycle campaigns using Alpine IQ
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure consistent in-store execution
  • Measure incrementality and margin impact—not just redemption

2. SEO & Local Search (Primary Focus)

  • Lead SEO strategy across website, menus, and local listings
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles, reviews, and local landing pages
  • Improve visibility for high-intent local search queries
  • Track performance using Google Search Console and GBP Insights
  • Ensure all efforts remain compliant with Ohio cannabis regulations

3. Paid Digital Marketing (Secondary Focus)

  • Support or contribute to compliant paid media initiatives as appropriate
  • Collaborate with external partners or platforms when needed
  • Understand platform restrictions and propose compliant alternatives
  • Assist with measurement and attribution where paid efforts exist

What You’ll Do

  • Translate business goals into measurable growth strategies
  • Analyze performance data and prioritize high-impact initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams
  • Provide input on creative direction and messaging
  • Travel regularly to Columbus & Cincinnati for:
  • Store visits and leadership collaboration
  • Content creation and campaign execution
  • Vendor events and community partnerships

You’ll Thrive If You Have

  • 3+ years in growth, performance, or digital marketing
  • Strong experience in loyalty/CRM, SEO, or lifecycle marketing
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Familiarity with tools such as Dutchie, Alpine IQ, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills—this role reports directly to ownership
