Guest Relations Officer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

- Manage well organized front desk by receiving incoming calls, taking reservations /Lounge check-ins and especially farewell during guest departure and peak hours.

- Thorough knowledge of business partners affiliated to the Hotel.

- Greets customers in a courteous and professional manner, welcomes them to the restaurant, and attends to their inquiries before handing them to serving team who will take their orders.

- Ensure enough presentable menus available clean (free of stains and smudges)

- Check restaurant’s emails and respond to them accordingly with the approval of the Manager /Supervisor.

- Communicate with Manager and other staff, such as dinners, informing them of guests’ bookings, needs and any complaints or guest feedback.

- Learning and training other associates up to date about service standards, food and beverage knowledge, and other information necessary to perform the job efficiently. Continue (Learning and development)

- Thorough knowledge about the procedure of airlines lounge utilization.

- Generate invoices in LAS & Micros in a timely manner as for the walk in, airlines , travel agents , cards and web booking etc…in a stipulated manner.

- Keep a record of check out time and notify the guest accordingly; collect the payment for extra hours if the guest decided to extent the stay.

- Announce the flight departure on a timely manner through automated system or manually.

- Promote and upsell the lounge to all the guests who walks in for enquiring about the lounge.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have atleast 1 year experience of related field
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Able to work in minimum supervision and can do multi-tasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
