Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate (GSA) – F&B Service is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and hygiene. The role involves assisting in restaurant operations, order-taking, serving food & beverages, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding to requests.
- Maintain an attentive and courteous attitude at all times.
Operational Duties
- Set up restaurant tables according to service standards.
- Assist in buffet setup and replenishment.
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
- Support smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.
- Ensure correct billing and assist in payment procedures when required.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, service stations, and equipment.
- Comply with resort SOPs and safety guidelines.
Teamwork & Communication
- Coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
- Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in F&B Service (freshers with good communication may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, grooming standards, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and peak operational hours.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long durations.
- Ability to lift and carry service trays and equipment.
