Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Facility Management

  • Oversee daily gym operations, front desk, training areas, and group exercise studios.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, equipment functionality, and safety compliance.
  • Maintain maintenance schedules for all fitness equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with biomedical/maintenance departments for equipment servicing.

2. Staff Management & Scheduling

  • Recruit, train, and supervise.
  • Fitness Trainers.
  • Receptionists.
  • Group Class Instructors.
  • Wellness Coaches.
  • Prepare duty rosters, leave schedules, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff hold valid certifications and CPR/First Aid credentials.

3. Member Experience & Retention

  • Ensure high customer service standards and member satisfaction.
  • Develop retention programs, loyalty plans, and referral initiatives.
  • Handle member complaints, feedback, and service recovery.
  • Maintain personal training packages and wellness consultations.

4. Safety, Medical & Compliance

  • Enforce medical screening, PAR-Q forms, and clearance policies.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness, AED availability, and incident reporting.
  • Coordinate with hospital physicians for referral-based fitness programs.
  • Maintain compliance with MoPH and healthcare facility regulations.

5. Financial & Sales Management

  • Manage gym revenue targets, membership sales, and PT packages.
  • Control operational expenses and budget utilization.
  • Prepare monthly financial, utilization, and KPI reports.
  • Implement corporate wellness packages and insurance partnerships.

6. Marketing & Business Development

  • Promote wellness programs, classes, and health campaigns.
  • Partner with companies for employee wellness programs.
  • Support digital marketing and community outreach initiatives.
  • Launch seasonal challenges, transformation programs, and events.

7. Reporting & Quality Improvement

  • Track KPIs:
  • Active members
  • Retention rate
  • Trainer productivity
  • Class attendance
  • Revenue per member
  • Propose service enhancements and expansion initiatives.
