Gypsum carpenter

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gypsum works, ceiling and partition installation, repair and maintenance, and finishing works within residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gypsum ceiling and partition installation, repair, and finishing.
• Carry out maintenance and repair works for existing gypsum structures.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications accurately.
• Work on small-scale fit-out, renovation, and modification projects as required.
• Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
• Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of gypsum board, false ceilings, partitions, and related materials.
• Ability to measure, cut, assemble, and finish gypsum panels accurately.
• Basic understanding of other carpentry and maintenance works is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit with attention to detail.
