Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gypsum Carpenter specializing in interior works to join our dynamic fit-out team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the UAE, with in-depth knowledge of gypsum board installation, ceiling systems, partitioning, and finishing works. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install gypsum boards, partitions, ceilings (plain, decorative, or acoustic), and related components as per drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and install drywall assemblies including stud framing, furring, channeling, and corner beads.
• Perform cutting, shaping, and fitting of gypsum panels and ceiling tiles using appropriate tools.
• Execute smooth and precise finishing including joint taping, sanding, and corner detailing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with site supervisors and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct on-site measurements and assist in material estimation.
• Ensure safe handling and usage of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and quality protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Gypsum Carpenter in the UAE interior fit-out industry.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
• Strong knowledge of different types of ceiling systems and partition works.
• Skilled in handling gypsum board cutting, framing, installation, and finishing.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations on construction sites in the UAE.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual work.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work on multiple sites as per project requirements.
