Hair Restoration Salon Manager

Position Overview:

HairLine Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to lead daily clinic operations at our Akron location. This is a unique opportunity for a licensed cosmetologist with strong leadership instincts to step into a management role at one of Ohio’s most established and respected hair restoration clinics. You will oversee a compassionate, skilled team, ensure exceptional client experiences, and help drive clinic growth through sales and community outreach.

This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week, including one evening per week.

Salon Operations & Management

• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and client-centered service delivery
• Maintain scheduling, inventory, and supply management
• Enforce clinic policies, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Coordinate with ownership on performance goals, budgets, and reporting

Staff Leadership

• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate cosmetology and support staff
• Foster a positive team culture rooted in compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
• Resolve staff concerns and escalate HR matters as appropriate

Client Services & Hair Cutting

• Perform cutting, styling, and hair system fitting and maintenance services for clients (men and women)
• Conduct consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate hair loss solutions
• Ensure every client interaction reflects HairLine’s commitment to empathy and individualized care

Sales & Marketing

• Drive clinic revenue through client retention strategies and new client development
• Be part of the sales team, consulting with perspective clients and educating them.
• Assist in executing local marketing initiatives including social media, community events, and referral programs
• Educate clients on the full range of HairLine services and products
• Track and report on key performance indicators including client retention, service revenue, and product sales

Qualifications:

• Experience in a hair replacement, medical, or specialty salon setting
• Demonstrated track record in client-facing sales, upselling, or service package development
• Background in local marketing, social media management, or community outreach
• Familiarity with salon scheduling and point-of-sale software
