Hairdresser/ Hair Treatment - Home Service

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Hairdresser / Hair Treatment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and various hair treatments, while providing excellent customer service and personalized hair care advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of hair services including:
• Haircuts (men, women, and children)
• Hair coloring, highlights, and toning
• Hair styling for daily wear and special occasions
• Hair and scalp treatments (hydration, repair, keratin, rebonding, etc.)
• Blow-drying, straightening, and curling
• Conduct professional consultations to understand clients’ needs and suggest suitable styles or treatments.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines and recommend salon products for home use.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of salon equipment, workstations, and tools.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product innovations.
• Build strong client relationships and encourage repeat visits and referrals.
• Ensure client satisfaction and handle feedback professionally.
• Assist in salon promotions, product sales, and other marketing activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Certificate, diploma, or NVQ qualification in Hairdressing or Cosmetology.
• Proven experience as a Hairdresser / Hairstylist in a salon setting.
• Strong knowledge of hair types, textures, and treatment options.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
• Professional appearance and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when necessary.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with advanced hair treatments (e.g., keratin, olaplex, scalp therapy, hair botox etc.)
• Knowledge of hair extensions, braiding, or updos.
• Product sales or retail experience.
• Ability to work with diverse hair types and styles.
