Hardware Engineer II – ES-ET-Qual

Role Overview:
Join the Qualification Test team within the Electronic Test (ES-ET) group. As a Hardware Engineer II, you will ensure technical excellence in Qualification Testing for multiple Aerospace products, collaborating with stakeholders such as Product Engineering, Obsolescence Engineering, and Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain lab test infrastructure to meet customer needs (Obsolescence COE, NPI & HES).
  • Sustain NABL certification for the Aero Qual lab in Bangalore.
  • Set up test equipment, execute tests, and troubleshoot test-related issues.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership in Aerospace Qualification Testing, including developing and reviewing technical documents.
  • Manage Qualification Test Lab operations: planning, scheduling, and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate across Honeywell to identify and solve complex Qualification Test challenges.



Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Qualification Test Execution, specifically in Aerospace product qualification.

Skills:

  • Experience with DO-160, MIL STD, D6 testing.
  • Environmental testing and EMI/EMC Test expertise.
  • Building and maintaining test lab infrastructure.
  • Development and review of Qualification Test documentation (QTP, QTR).
  • Test lab maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Qualification Test Lab management: planning, scheduling, and managing multiple stakeholders.
