HDD Engineer (Civil/Infra)

Adcon Contracting LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced HDD Engineer (Civil/Infrastructure) to manage and supervise Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) works for infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE. The role is primarily field-based and involves close on-site coordination with authorities, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant execution of HDD works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HDD design and planning documents, including drilling profiles, bore paths, and method statements, for submission and approval by relevant authorities such as DEWA, RTA, and Etisalat.
• Supervise day-to-day HDD operations on site, including drilling, reaming, and product pipe pull-back, ensuring adherence to approved methods, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate utility investigations by conducting trial pits to identify existing underground services and manage the full No Objection Certificate (NOC) process with Dubai authorities.
• Monitor site activities, resolve technical issues during drilling, and ensure minimal disruption to existing utilities and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate daily drilling logs, as-built drawings, progress records, and technical reports for submission to clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE authority requirements, approved method statements, and HSE regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of proven experience in HDD and utility installation works, with specific experience in the UAE.
• Strong technical expertise in HDD design, bore path development, and on-site execution of drilling works
• Thorough knowledge of UAE authority procedures, NOC requirements, and infrastructure approval processes
• Valid UAE Driving License
