A Head Barista leads daily coffee operations, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation, equipment calibration, and exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include training and supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining hygiene standards, and crafting specialized coffee drinks. They often curate menus and manage scheduling.

Core Responsibilities

  • Quality Control & Coffee Expertise: Maintaining high standards for espresso, milk texturing, and latte art, while ensuring consistency across all drinks.
  • Team Leadership: Training, mentoring, and scheduling barista staff, often managing performance and conducting training sessions.
  • Operational Management: Managing stock levels for coffee, milk, and supplies, including inventory ordering and rotation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrating and troubleshooting espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Customer Experience: Serving as a senior point of contact for customers, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: Generally, 3–7+ years of experience as a barista, with previous leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of coffee roasting, blending, brewing methods, and expert-level latte art.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
