Head Barista

Job Description:

The Head Barista is responsible for overseeing daily coffee operations, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation, maintaining excellent customer service, and managing the barista team. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of coffee, and the ability to train and motivate staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the barista team during daily operations
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all coffee and beverage preparation
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to existing team members
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any service issues professionally
  • Develop and update beverage menus when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Barista preferred.
  • Knowledge of coffee machines and brewing techniques.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
