CHAWA Café is a Japanese-inspired specialty café offering premium matcha, hojicha, and authentic Japanese tea-based beverages. Our menu celebrates Japanese craftsmanship with a modern twist, featuring ceremonial-grade teas, artisanal sweets, and innovative signature drinks like the Matcha Cloud Series, Brown Sugar Hojicha, and handcrafted parfait pairings.

We are now hiring skilled and passionate Baristas who can bring our vision of authenticity, artistry, and precision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of Japanese tea-based drinks, including matcha, hojicha, sencha, gyokuro, and latte-based beverages.
• Master the preparation of our signature drinks such as the Matcha Cream Soda, Mango Matcha Cloud, and Salted Vanilla Matcha Cloud.
• Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service area.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage guests with knowledge about matcha, teas, and their origins.
• Assist in pairing drinks with Japanese-inspired sweets and desserts.
• Support daily café operations, including stock management and order preparation.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience in specialty or high-end cafés preferred.
• Basic understanding of tea or coffee preparation; experience with matcha or Japanese teas is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and a passion for customer experience.
• Willingness to learn about Japanese tea culture and beverage craftsmanship.
