URGENTLY HIRING: HEAD CHEF – BAKERY & PASTRY (UAE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our bakery and pastry kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader capable of managing production, staff, quality, and profitability — while also contributing to menu innovation, cost efficiency, and sales growth across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all daily kitchen operations for bakery and pastry production.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure consistent high-quality output.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet daily demand and catering orders.
  • Develop and innovate new bakery and dessert menu items that align with brand standards and customer trends.
  • Ensure excellent product quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, raw materials, and supplier relations to maintain stock accuracy and cost control.
  • Conduct sales forecasting to plan production efficiently and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the management of food aggregator apps (Talabat, Deliveroo, etc.) ensuring accurate menu listings, order coordination, and consistent product quality for online orders.
  • Monitor performance reports and collaborate with management to boost sales and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational discipline across all kitchen areas.
  • Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
  • Foster a cooperative, professional, and motivated team environment.
  • Participate in administrative duties, documentation, and kitchen performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a bakery, café, or hotel (UAE experience required).
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and bakery production, recipe development, and modern culinary techniques.
  • Experience with kitchen management, cost control, and sales forecasting.
  • Familiarity with food delivery aggregator platforms and back-end order management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory, reduce costs, and maintain high production standards.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
