Head Chef

We are looking for a Head Chef who can join and lead our kitchen team with passion and dedication in order to develop, improve and educate.

Job Description:

o Improve existing and develop new menu items

o Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers

o Supervise food and supplies, budgeting expenses, preparing recipe cards and inventory report

o Manage and keep organized the kitchen team to deliver consistent food quality aimed and create amazing experiences for guests

o Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served

o Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and stored

o Monitor and follow hygiene standards of kitchen and all kitchen related areas

o Inform service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items

o Develop knowledge of service staff in regards of ingredients and technics used during preparation of the menu items

o Lead daily briefings and monthly operational meetings in order to ensure that all applicable action points are followed

o Communicate with others using clear and professional language

o Develop and maintain positive working relationships with kitchen and service team; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees

o Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products (Food Watch)

o Ensure the quality of the food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specifications

o Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees

o Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions

to manager; complete safety training and certifications

o Follow maintenance and professional cleaning schedules

o Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,170.39 - AED11,226.14 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
