Job Description
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through talent development and retention strategies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Design and manage compensation and benefits programmes.
- Provide support and guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to improve organisational performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of HR should have:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR leadership within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and develop HR teams effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organisational development.
