Your Role


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic sales leader to head our Mining & Metals vertical. This role demands a commercially aggressive mindset balanced with deep industry insight and a consultative approach. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, shape go-to-market strategies, and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the mining and metals ecosystem. As part of Capgemini’s global consulting and digital transformation practice, this role will also contribute to shaping innovative, sustainable, and technology-driven solutions for our clients.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for the Mining & Metals vertical, aligned with Capgemini’s global growth objectives.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and market intelligence to position high-value, consultative solutions that address client pain points.
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships with mining operators, metal producers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate with delivery, portfolio, and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions and differentiated offerings.
  • Drive pipeline generation, deal closure, and account expansion across key markets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of performance, learning, and collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy and client conversations.


Your Profile


  • 15+ years in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Mining & Metals or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of mining operations, supply chains, sustainability challenges, and digital transformation trends.
  • Proven track record of consultative selling, strategic account management, and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial edge and a consulting-style approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional storytelling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with delivery, product, and marketing teams to shape and sell integrated solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
