About the Position: Head of Category / Category Manager

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Head of Category / Category Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for driving category growth, improving product performance, enhancing merchant experience, and ensuring we deliver high-quality value to both sellers and customers across the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute commercial and growth strategies for the category.
  • Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize assortment, pricing, and product offering based on market insights.
  • Support merchants and help them grow sustainably.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive experience for merchants and customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and work with teams to enhance service quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Category Management / Commercial / Merchandising (preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or retail).
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience driving commercial decisions.
  • Proven ability to grow categories and manage supplier/merchant relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
