Position Overview

We are hiring a Head of Client Marketing — a senior leadership role with complete ownership of all client-facing marketing execution across Social Media and Graphic Design.

This is not a coordination role.This is a marketing authority position.

You will own strategy validation, creative direction, quality control, process discipline, time efficiency, and strategic improvement for all client marketing deliverables before they reach the Project Management team.

You will lead:

  • Social Media Team Lead & Specialists
  • Graphic Design Team Lead & Designers

Reports to: COO (Strategic escalation: CEO)

Key Responsibilities1. Client Marketing Strategy Ownership

  • Analyze client business model, positioning, audience, competitors, and branding.
  • Build, define, and own the complete client marketing strategy including positioning, content pillars, messaging framework, creative direction, and funnel alignment.
  • Convert unclear briefs into structured internal marketing strategy.
  • Ensure all creative and content directions are strategy-backed and growth-aligned.
  • Review tasks immediately upon assignment to validate scope clarity and objective alignment.

2. Pre-Execution & Scope Control

  • Validate objectives, success criteria, time allocation, and team involvement before execution.
  • Prevent rework through early clarity.
  • Report scope or structural gaps back to PM/COO in a structured flow.

3. 100% Pre-Delivery Quality Approval

Review every deliverable before it reaches PM.

For Social Media:

  • Strategic alignment, hooks, CTA logic, engagement potential, brand tone.

For Graphic Design:

  • Marketing intent, visual hierarchy, conversion support, brand consistency, platform formatting.

Authority to approve, revise, or block delivery.

4. Marketing Improvement & Upsell Triggers

  • Identify weak positioning, branding gaps, funnel issues, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide at least 2 structured improvement insights per active client per month.
  • Document opportunities for retention and upsell support.

5. Time, Productivity & Billing Oversight

  • Monitor revision patterns and eliminate repeat mistakes.
  • Diagnose time overruns (skill gap vs process gap).
  • Review and approve final practical time (±10–15% acceptable variance).
  • Ensure daily time reporting accuracy before submission to PM.
  • Step into execution during high workload or critical accounts.

6. SOP & Process Authority

  • Create and maintain SOPs for social, design, and quality workflows.
  • Document recurring mistakes and prevention logic.
  • Enforce structured accountability and escalation (Coaching → Warning → COO).

7. Team Development & Cross-Department Alignment

  • Conduct monthly training sessions to improve strategic and conversion thinking.
  • Ensure Team Leads can independently break down strategy and maintain standards.
  • Act as marketing authority for PM queries and brand alignment.
  • Coordinate with Development for marketing-to-web alignment.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years in client-facing digital marketing leadership
  • Strong expertise in:

  • Agency workflow management
  • Proven team leadership experience (Social + Design)
  • Strong decision-making, accountability, and structured communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a high-pressure, delivery-driven environment
