Head of Commercial

Job Summary:

The Head of Commercial will lead and execute the company’s nationwide growth and revenue strategy, driving inventory expansion, strategic partnerships, and pricing optimization. This role is responsible for scaling supply acquisition, maximizing revenue performance, and building a high-performing commercial function within a dynamic, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a nationwide commercial growth strategy to scale premium unit inventory.
  • Lead supply acquisition efforts, sourcing and closing deals with property owners, developers, and real estate funds.
  • Develop and implement revenue management and dynamic pricing strategies to maximize RevPAR and overall profitability.
  • Build and secure exclusive strategic partnerships with major developers across key destinations (e.g., North Coast, El Gouna, New Cairo, West Cairo).
  • Establish and manage a scalable commercial pipeline and forecasting framework.
  • Mentor, lead, and grow a high-performing commercial team with a strong performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with tech and operations teams to align pricing, occupancy, and demand strategies.
  • Act as the primary commercial liaison between executive leadership, Board members, and external investors.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making across acquisition, partnerships, and revenue optimization initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven background in Real Estate, Hospitality, High-Growth Startups, or Telecom sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue management and dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Experience leading and scaling commercial or growth teams.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in fast-paced, scale-up environments.
  • Strategic thinker with execution focus.
  • High negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Results-driven with strong ownership mentality.
  • Expertise in revenue management, RevPAR optimization, and pricing strategy.
  • Strong commercial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of real estate acquisition and partnership structuring.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and revenue management tools.
  • Data analytics and dashboard reporting exposure is preferred.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to build and scale commercial functions from the ground up.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value negotiations simultaneously.
  • Capability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.
  • Strong leadership capacity to inspire and retain top commercial talent.
