The Role

We are seeking a Head of Digital to lead the Performance Marketing acquisition efforts and manage a significant budget of up to a six-figure monthly marketing spend in USD. This is a pivotal leadership role within the marketing function, responsible for driving customer acquisition, optimising performance across multiple channels, and scaling growth across key markets.

The ideal candidate will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on practitioner — comfortable adapting to the unique complexities of a vast product catalogue and a fast-moving e-commerce environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the performance marketing strategy and execution across Google, Meta, and other paid channels.
  • Optimise a large monthly budget, ensuring maximum ROI and efficient customer acquisition.
  • Lead a small but impactful team, mentoring and developing a Performance Marketing Manager.
  • Manage external partners, including SEO agencies, Google account teams, and specialist agencies for sub-brands.
  • Analyse and optimise campaigns using Google stack, BigQuery, and other advanced data tools — leveraging AI and analytics to refine targeting and product selection.
  • Drive acquisition strategy across lower funnel (current priority) and shift progressively towards upper funnel campaigns (planned from Q4 2025).
  • Collaborate with product, tech, and cross-functional teams to influence on-site conversion improvements and optimise customer journeys.
  • Maintain strong relationships with platform partners (Google, Meta, affiliates) to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of performance marketing innovation.


Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in performance marketing leadership, ideally within large or complex e-commerce platforms (marketplaces, cross-border commerce, quick commerce).
  • Experience managing large and diverse product catalogues and budgets of a similar scale.
  • Strong knowledge of the MENA region, especially UAE and Saudi Arabia. Experience with India is highly advantageous. Exposure to UK/Australia a plus.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads and related platforms; comfort with analytics tools such as BigQuery, Appsflyer, GA, Segment, or similar.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in fast-paced, scale-up environments, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to shifting strategies.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and hands-on, but also able to step back and think strategically.
  • Collaborative leader with the ability to manage both internal teams and external partners/agencies.
  • Comfortable handling the learning curve of a unique system — resilience and adaptability are essential.
