We are currently on the lookout for a Head of Digital Banking for one of the leading digital transformation companies in Karachi. This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to drive business growth, lead high-impact initiatives, and play a key role in the fintech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the strategic business vision for Temenos Digital implementations.
- Establish the unit’s mission, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy.
- Serve as the business thought leader, representing business streams in governance meetings, steering committees, and client executive discussions.
- Ensure that business requirements are captured, validated, and delivered as part of the final product.
- Build, mentor, and lead a multi-disciplinary team of Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and QA professionals.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and delivering at the highest standard.
- Establish and oversee frameworks for professional development, succession planning, and knowledge transfer within the unit.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams.
- Spearhead business discovery workshops with clients to extract, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure alignment with Temenos Digital product.
- Govern the creation, management, and version control of business documentation.
- Lead the UX/UI design stream, ensuring designs are business-driven and customer-centric.
- Approve and validate designs, ensuring the developed product reflects the approved vision.
- Champion design thinking and human-centered design principles within the delivery lifecycle operating within the product cycle.
- Define and enforce a quality assurance strategy across business, design, and delivery streams.
- Ensure product releases are bug-free, functionally accurate, and aligned with business requirements.
- Oversee test case definition, user acceptance test planning, and defect management with measurable outcomes.
- Act as the primary business counterpart for client executives, ensuring trust, transparency, and delivery excellence.
- Represent business interests in cross-functional discussions with technical, architectural, and delivery teams.
- Ensure all commitments to clients are met with precision, timeliness, and quality.
Key Skills & Competencies
- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership experience in digital banking transformations (Temenos Digital/Infinity strongly preferred).
- Strong expertise in Business Analysis, UX/UI oversight, and Quality Assurance.
- Ability to set a clear vision, inspire teams, and drive organizational outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of banking processes, regulatory frameworks, and customer experience.
- Excellent team management, coaching, and mentorship capabilities.
- Strong communication, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight.
