About Tilted Needle:

Tilted Needle is a global creative agency specialising in video production, design, and digital storytelling. We’re seeking a Head of Editing Department to lead our Dubai-based post-production team.

This role requires an experienced and creative leader who can manage editors, set visual standards, and ensure that all video content meets the highest production quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the editing team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all video projects.
• Oversee the full post-production process — editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Review and provide feedback on edits to maintain brand and creative consistency.
• Collaborate with directors, videographers, and producers to achieve desired results.
• Train, guide, and evaluate junior editors to improve team performance.
• Manage workflow, task distribution, and file organization across multiple ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in professional video editing or post-production.
• Proven experience leading or supervising an editing team.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and creative judgment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
