Head of Engineering (Transportation Systems)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Head of Engineering to join a well-established organization operating within the transportation and mobility sector. This position will lead the engineering function, set the technical direction, and ensure successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive overall technical performance
• Establish and enhance engineering processes, standards, and best practices
• Ensure effective integration across all engineering disciplines and systems
• Oversee project execution to meet quality, timeline, and budget targets
• Support bid and proposal activities, including technical reviews and solution development
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering within transportation, rail, or similar sectors
• Strong experience in systems engineering and large-scale system integration
• Solid exposure to tenders, proposals, and pre-sales activities
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Fluency in English
