About the Company

Our company, X Up Brands, manages a portfolio of e-commerce and Amazon FBA businesses. We are a fast-growing e-commerce company specializing in Amazon and direct-to-consumer sales, with a diverse team across creative, advertising, and leadership roles. As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Head of HR to take charge of our human resources function, ensuring a thriving, productive, and well-managed workplace.

The Role

As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for leading all people and culture functions, including recruiting, workplace policies, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to handle critical HR functions effectively. You will be the key point of contact for our teams based in Pakistan and serve as the bridge to leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to support the company’s hiring needs.
  • Lead initiatives for increased employee retention and lower turnover.
  • Create and implement HR policies that align with the organization's values for an improved workplace and employee well-being.
  • Build processes to lead conflict resolutions and handle all employee concerns.
  • Develop performance management frameworks, lead performance reviews, and provide feedback for improved performance.
  • Support leadership to create training programs for employee upskilling.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and handle any legal HR issues that arise.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, incentives, and support with compensation benchmarking.
  • Track key HR statistics, create reports, and share findings with the leadership.
  • Promote a positive company culture and organize employee engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR management or related role. Experience supporting e-commerce organizations is preferred.
  • At least 4+ years of working experience in the capacity of a head or VP of HR.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience using HRIS & ATS systems, such as Workable, Gusto, BambooHR, etc.
  • Experience in structuring policies and workplace norms from scratch.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • HR certification is preferred, but not required.
