🔹 About the Role

A prestigious institution in the higher education sector is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead its HR department and drive strategic initiatives that support its mission and long-term vision. This role requires a seasoned HR leader with a proven track record in organizational planning, talent management, employee engagement, and compliance, ideally within the higher education sector.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the HR strategy in alignment with the institution’s strategic plan.
  • Lead and guide a team of 7 HR professionals.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development programs.
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with UAE Labour Law and best practices.
  • Drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and Emiratization strategies.
  • Oversee payroll, compensation strategies, and benefits administration.
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and HR digital transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and risk management regulations.


🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years in HR, including at least 7 in a management role (preferably in higher education).
  • Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in organizational change and HR digital transformation.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and policy development.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or French is an advantage.
