Our client is a rapidly scaling consumer goods and eCommerce company with a growing retail presence. As the business expands, they are seeking a
Head of HR / CHRO
to design, lead, and elevate their people strategy. This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO, and will be responsible for building the HR function into a strategic driver of organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
Build and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals and rapid growth objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Retention:
Develop and manage recruiting processes across corporate, retail, and eCommerce teams while creating programs to boost retention and engagement.

Compliance & Policy:
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.

HR Operations:
Oversee HR systems, payroll coordination, and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and scalability.

Reporting & Workforce Planning:
Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and data-driven decision making.

Compensation & Benefits:
Manage competitive salary structures, incentive programs, and benefit offerings.

Employee Relations:
Address employee concerns, investigate issues, and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Learning & Development:
Implement training, leadership development, and career progression programs.

Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage the HR department budget to support growth initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 4 years in a senior HR or executive role.

Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Experience with HRIS, payroll, and workforce management tools (Paycom experience a plus).

Proven success managing HR functions for distributed or remote teams nationwide.

Background in consumer goods, eCommerce, or retail environments highly preferred.
