Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead audit frameworks, oversee compliance initiatives, and safeguard organizational integrity. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to align audit strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide internal audit frameworks.
• Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities across operations and recommend mitigation measures.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, IFRS standards, and corporate governance.
• Reporting: Prepare audit dashboards, compliance reports, and recommendations for leadership.
• Incident Response: Lead investigations and corrective actions for audit findings.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives, regulators, and internal teams.
• Team Leadership: Mentor audit staff and foster a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CIA, or ACCA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or corporate governance.
• Strong knowledge of audit frameworks and GCC regulatory environments.
• Expertise in enterprise risk, operational audit, and compliance management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional financial organizations preferred.

Pay: RO2,800.000 - RO3,800.000 per month

Work Location: In person
