Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead audit initiatives, oversee compliance frameworks, and align risk management strategies with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to deliver robust audit solutions that enhance transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide internal audit frameworks.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, ISO standards, and corporate governance requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable audit reports to executives and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and internal teams to align audit objectives with business goals.
• Innovation Leadership: Drive adoption of digital audit tools, automation, and predictive analytics.
• Team Leadership: Mentor audit professionals and foster a culture of accountability and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA, CIA, or ACCA preferred).
• 12+ years of internal audit experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of audit frameworks and GCC regulatory environments.
• Expertise in enterprise risk management (ERM), compliance, and corporate governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in industrial refining or manufacturing organizations preferred.

Pay: RO2,800.000 - RO3,800.000 per month
