Head of Investment Banking

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Investment Banking to lead and grow our investment banking division. The role will be responsible for driving origination, executing complex transactions, building client relationships, and shaping the strategic direction of the franchise. This is a senior leadership position requiring strong deal-making ability, team leadership, and deep market relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the investment banking strategy in line with business objectives.
• Originate and lead new mandates across M&A, capital raising, IPO advisory, private placements, and strategic advisory.
• Lead transaction execution from pitch to closing, including valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, investors, regulators, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify market opportunities and develop creative transaction structures that create value for clients.
• Ensure all transactions comply with legal, regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team as the division scales.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance, with a strong track record in deal origination and execution.
• Proven experience leading M&A, capital raising, IPOs, and advisory mandates.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis capabilities.
• Established network across corporates, investors, and market participants is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, or equivalent background is often preferred.

Pay: QAR115.00 - QAR173.00 per hour
