Gameplan is an award-winning EdTech company that helps schools prepare students for tech careers in Game Design and Cybersecurity through our all-in-one learning platform. We work directly with K-12 schools, districts, and education programs to increase student engagement and prepare learners for future careers in gaming and creative technology.
We’re now looking for a Head of Marketing who can build and lead our B2B marketing efforts. Someone who’s both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor. Your mission is to generate qualified leads and drive awareness among decision-makers in the U.S. education market.
Create predictable, scalable lead generation and demand for our sales team through well-designed B2B marketing campaigns that reach schools, districts, and state-level education stakeholders.
Own the full marketing funnel. From planning to execution, with a strong focus on lead generation for the sales team.
Develop and manage digital campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, email marketing) aimed at school and district leaders.
Set up and optimize ad processes, budgets, and tracking systems to ensure measurable ROI.
Implement and maintain HubSpot dashboards and reports that track campaign performance and pipeline contribution.
Plan conference and event participation - choose the right education trade shows, manage logistics, and maximize qualified leads from each event.
Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align campaign messaging, lead quality, and conversion workflows.
Oversee creation of marketing materials and content (case studies, videos, landing pages, brochures) tailored to school administrators and educators.
Manage freelancers and vendors when needed to scale creative or technical execution.
Own the landing page. Collaborate with graphic & web designers to improve and expand landing pages.
A doer. You’re comfortable taking ownership and executing without large teams or layers of approval.
A storyteller. You know how to write copy that converts.
Experienced in B2B marketing, preferably within EdTech, SaaS, or education sales.
Data-driven.
Skilled in digital advertising, lead funnels, and conversion tracking.
Excellent communicator who can translate technical or creative ideas into outcomes that matter for schools and districts.
Motivated by impact - you want your marketing to help schools engage more students and improve learning outcomes.
Experience marketing to superintendents, CTE directors, or curriculum coordinators.
Knowledge of education funding programs (ESA, Perkins, Title I, etc.).
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies or HubSpot workflows for long sales cycles.
Comfortable with conference planning and on-site event marketing.
Comfortable working with HubSpot to track lead generation performance.
Experience with Framer to manage landing pages.
Experience with SEO and GEO.
Be part of a mission-driven company helping schools engage students through esports and game-based learning.
Lead a motivated, tight-knit team that values creativity, ownership, and collaboration.
Opportunity to shape both strategy and culture during a high-growth phase.
Competitive compensation and the chance to make a real impact in education.
We treat each other with sincerity and can openly critique one another with respect.
