Job Summary:

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and developing the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and strengthen brand awareness. This role oversees all sales activities, marketing initiatives, and promotional efforts to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds its revenue goals in rooms, catering, and ancillary services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across all segments
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, corporate clients, and other partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to increase occupancy and ADR
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of sales proposals, contracts, and rate negotiations
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives to support the hotel’s positioning and drive demand
  • Manage digital marketing activities including website content, SEO, email campaigns, and social media presence
  • Collaborate with PR agencies and brand representatives to enhance the hotel’s visibility and reputation
  • Ensure brand standards and visual identity are consistently applied across all marketing materials

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales and marketing leadership in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in hotel sales systems and digital marketing platforms
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
