Head of Oil and Gas Operations

Head of Oil and Gas Operations oversees all operational aspects of oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability in onshore/offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads strategic planning, including exploration decisions, demand forecasting, and production target achievement.
• Manages technical teams, subcontractors, budgets (e.g., OMR 30M+ OPEX/CAPEX), and emergency response protocols.
• Ensures HSSE compliance, risk assessments, SOP enforcement, and process optimizations across petroleum supply, logistics, and refineries.

Required Qualifications

Typically demands 15+ years in oil/gas operations, engineering degrees, leadership skills, and Oman-specific regulatory knowledge (e.g., gas networks, asset integrity). Roles report to CEO/CFO, directing 5+ departments like maintenance, projects, and dispatching.
