Head of Production

Required tasks:

• Manage all production lines and shift supervisors to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Track key KPIs: efficiency, yield, downtime, waste, labor productivity.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (ISO, FSSC, HACCP).
• Collaborate with QA/QC for consistent product quality.
• Lead CAPA initiatives on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Maintenance & Engineering for equipment reliability.
• Support automation and equipment investments to meet capacity needs.
• Align production planning with Sales and Supply Chain.
• Optimize raw material and packaging flow to prevent bottlenecks.
• Drive process innovation and improve OEE with CI manager.
• Enhance line capabilities without major Capex.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Develop long-term capacity and investment strategies.
• Follow ANF safety and AGRANA compliance guidelines.

Basic essential requirements:

• minimum 5 years of industrial / FMCG experience
• Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
• Expertise in the following areas: Maintenance, Production, Project Administration, Costs; Strategic orientation, strong communication and problem-solving skills; profound leadership and team management, as well as political management skills.
• Fluent English and Arabic
