Head of Productions - Bridal Couture Designer

Position: Head of Production – Bridal Couture

As the Head of Production for a leading bridal couture house in Lahore, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end garment production process. This includes strategic planning, execution, quality assurance, cost control, and team management. You will ensure that each bridal piece meets the brand’s standards of craftsmanship, timeliness, and design integrity.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Strategy & Workflow Management

• Develop and manage detailed production schedules to meet order deadlines and delivery targets.
• Oversee all stages of garment production, from fabric cutting and embroidery to stitching, finishing, and final inspection.
• Ensure seamless workflow by managing the timely availability of materials and resources.
• Plan and oversee sampling and proto development processes, aligning closely with design and merchandising teams.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a productive and accountable work environment.
• Supervise hiring, training, and ongoing evaluation of production staff.
• Resolve operational challenges, interpersonal issues, and team conflicts to maintain smooth functioning.

3. Quality Assurance

• Implement and uphold stringent quality control systems at every stage of production.
• Ensure all bridal couture pieces meet high standards of craftsmanship, embellishment, and fit.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

4. Cost Control & Vendor Management

• Monitor production expenses to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive rates.
• Track labor and operational costs for continuous process improvement and profitability.

5. Inventory Oversight

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, trims, embellishments, and finished garments.
• Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, ensuring timely reordering and usage.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Liaise effectively with design, sales, and customer service teams to align production with creative and commercial objectives.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, challenges, and solutions.

7. Bridal Couture Specialization

• Understand the intricacies of bridal couture, including hand embellishments, custom fittings, and bespoke design execution.
• Work closely with designers to translate creative concepts into technically sound production.
• Manage high-value, made-to-order bridal projects with precision, care, and confidentiality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing bridal or high-end fashion production.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• In-depth understanding of garment construction, embellishment techniques, and couture production processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Sound knowledge of production cost analysis and financial planning.

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
