PRODUCTION MANAGEROPPORTUNITIES AWAIT IN LAHORE

To ensure timely order fulfillment, compliance with food safety regulations, high-quality products and operational efficiency, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and manage the entire manufacturing process for products like whole spices, recipe mixes, spice powders, herbs, seasonings, corn flour, and desserts like custards, jellies, kheer mixes, and vermicelli. The role requires a deep expertise of food processing, particularly in the areas of grinding, mixing, sterilizing and packaging spices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Team Management: Lead and manage production staff, ensuring they are adequately trained, motivated, and working efficiently.

· Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to FSSC, HACCP, BRCGs, QMS and other GFSI standards

· Process Improvement: Continuously assess production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

· Cost Control: Manage production budgets, control costs, and work to improve cost-efficiency in manufacturing operations , overuse of raw materials and machine downtime.

· Health & Safety: Ensure that the production facility complies with all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for employees.

· Inventory Management: Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials are available for production and manage stock levels efficiently.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present production reports, including output levels, efficiency, and areas for improvement, Raise timely requisitions for spare parts or breakdown repairs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MPhil/BS/M-Tech in Food Science & Technology, /Mechanical / Production Engineering.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in food manufacturing (minimum 5 years in Recipe mixes, dry spices, desserts production & blending units).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with spice sterilization techniques (steam, dry heat), volatile oil content management, aroma retention methods and GFSI labeling norms.
