Position: Head of Project Management

Location: Istanbul (On-site work model)

About the Role

As an international technology company providing end-to-end solutions in the field of financial technologies, we are looking for an experienced Head of Project Management to lead our Project Management team.

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex software and financial application projects, ensuring successful delivery within the defined scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of complex software and financial application projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines,
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and multicultural teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria,
• Bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements,
• Manage project scope, risks, schedules, and resources effectively; proactively identify and mitigate potential issues,
• Design and continuously improve data management processes in line with corporate objectives,
• Manage project management and information flow processes effectively with software vendors, external service providers, and business partners,
• Contribute actively to the company’s digital transformation and data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering , Industrial Engineering , Mathematics Engineering , Computer Science , or a related field
• ( A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred ),
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in financial technologies, software business analysis, and project management,
• Experienced in Agile , Waterfall , and Hybrid project management methodologies,
• Holding PMP (PMI) , PSM , or PSPO certification is an asset,
• Strong technical knowledge to assess technology selection, implementation, and integration processes,
• Proficient in using JIRA and other project management tools,
• Knowledge of EMV , DLL , and similar financial technology standards,
• Advanced knowledge of databases, middleware, and microservices architectures,
• Strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, scope management, and technical documentation,
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work with international stakeholders across different time zones,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office , with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint ,
• Up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends,
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills,
• Strong leadership and team management abilities,
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,
• High level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and a continuous learning mindset,
• Willingness to work on-site in Istanbul .
