ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As we scale, we’re looking for a passionate, visionary Head of Sales to lead and drive Beam’s revenue growth, build strategic relationships, and help shape the future of our sales strategy. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven, fast-growing startup with the chance to make a direct impact on the world by:

  • Leading Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Working closely with the CEO & CTO (Founders) and the Head of Client Strategy to align on business priorities and go-to-market strategies. Serve as a key ambassador for Beam to external stakeholders, representing the brand and its values at industry events, conferences, and in partnership meetings.

  • Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing Senior AE team. Developing sales talent to hit both short-term and long-term revenue goals.

  • Identifying, negotiating, and securing high-value brand partnerships that amplify Beam’s impact. Collaborating with client strategy and partnerships teams to develop tailored partnership proposals that resonate with target brands and corporate partners.

  • Leading efforts to explore and validate new markets and verticals for growth, leveraging data and insights to guide expansion strategies.

ABOUT YOU

This is a leadership role for someone who is deeply passionate about social impact and wants to drive Beam’s growth while making a real difference in the world. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of building and scaling sales teams at high-growth startups.

We’re looking for:

  • 8+ years in sales, with at least 2-3 years managing and scaling a sales team in a high-growth startup environment (bonus points for experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or social impact sectors).

  • A strong history of exceeding sales targets, driving growth, and building long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • You can see the big picture, strategically plan for growth, and pivot as needed based on market trends and data insights.

  • Ability to clearly articulate the vision of Beam and inspire both internal and external stakeholders. You are a natural storyteller, skilled in pitching complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Highly analytical, using data and metrics to shape decisions and strategies.

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or relevant equivalent experience).

In addition to cash compensation, stock, healthcare, and remote work, Beam will also offer the following perks, as further set forth in the applicable policies:

  • Unlimited PTO: All Beam team members are entitled to unlimited paid time off, with a requirement to take a minimum of two weeks per year.

  • Remote first with optional NYC HQ: This role may be conducted fully remotely, with the option to work from our gorgeous New York City HQ with sunlight, plants, drinks, snacks, and energy

REPORTING

You will report to Beam’s CEO.

COMPENSATION

Your total compensation consists of four parts: base salary, performance based bonus at on-target earnings, partial 401k match, and stock options.

Total cash compensation for this role is $380,000 - $400,000 OTE per year.
