Sales Strategy & Business Development

Introduce innovative sales models to expand market penetration.

Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for CC & PL.

Set sales targets for the team and monitor progress against KPIs.

Identify potential customer segments and explore new business opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that generate qualified leads.

Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategies for market positioning.

Team Leadership & Management

Manage the existing team and recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team (targeted team strength to be 300+ employees)

Lead, mentor, and motivate a large sales force including regional/area managers, team leaders, and frontline sales executives.

Design and implement training programs to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance awareness.

Build a strong performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and incentive structures.

Manage succession planning and reduce sales staff attrition through engagement and career development.

Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

Drive lead generation activities including branch walk-ins, digital channels, referrals, and partnerships.

Oversee the sales process from prospecting to loan disbursement.

Maintain relationships with high-value customers and institutional partners.

Ensure prompt resolution of customer queries and complaints.

Portfolio & Credit Quality Management

Ensure all applications meet company credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Review all files for accuracy and completeness before submission to credit teams.

Maintain acceptable portfolio quality by implementing proactive risk controls.

Track and report product disbursement volumes vs. target achievement.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure 100% compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and central bank regulations.

Train the sales team on KYC, and responsible lending practices.

Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of MIS reports.

Implement ethical selling practices with no misrepresentation of loan terms.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.

Track productivity per sales officer, conversion ratios, and lead-to-loan cycles.

Present sales performance and portfolio health updates to senior management.

Recommend process improvements and new initiatives for efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of overall sales targets (disbursement volumes & card issuance).

Market share growth in personal loans and credit cards.

Portfolio quality (delinquency levels, NPA ratios).

Sales productivity per employee / per channel.

Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution metrics.

Compliance audit scores and zero tolerance on mis-selling.
