Job Overview

A leading and rapidly growing food manufacturing company is looking for a high-impact Head of Sales & Marketing to aggressively drive revenue growth, market expansion, and brand dominance. This role demands a results-oriented leader who can scale sales across retail and distribution channels while ensuring flawless on-ground execution through regular branch visits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities, revenue streams, and customer segments
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and territories
  • Ensure alignment of brand positioning with overall commercial strategy
  • Drive overall sales performance across B2B and B2C channels
  • Strengthen distributor, retail, and institutional sales networks
  • Optimize sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Establish and monitor sales targets, incentives, and performance structures
  • Lead brand development, positioning, and communication strategies
  • Oversee digital marketing, advertising, and customer acquisition campaigns
  • Enhance brand awareness, engagement, and market presence
  • Manage product marketing, packaging, and promotional strategies
  • Conduct regular physical visits to branches to monitor execution of sales and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure on-ground implementation of branding, merchandising, and promotional activities across all retail outlets
  • Gain and apply hands-on retail experience to improve store performance, customer experience, and sales conversion
  • Identify operational and customer experience gaps at branch level and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with branch teams to align sales targets with in-store realities and challenges
  • Oversee pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability
  • Monitor P&L, budgets, and revenue forecasts
  • Improve margins through cost optimization and value-driven strategies
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks and market challenges
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior
  • Develop customer retention and loyalty programs
  • Strengthen customer experience and feedback mechanisms
  • Build and lead high-performing sales and marketing teams
  • Define clear KPIs and performance tracking systems
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and R&D for product alignment
  • Ensure smooth execution of product launches and campaigns
  • Coordinate with finance for budgeting and performance tracking
  • Develop dashboards and performance reports for management
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting
  • Represent the company in industry forums, partnerships, and events
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support the department’s objectives and overall business goals.

Job Specification

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10–15 years of experience in sales and marketing, within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving aggressive sales targets
  • Strong experience in managing retail, distribution, and channel sales networks
  • Hands-on exposure to retail operations, including regular branch visits and in-store execution
  • Expertise in brand management, marketing strategy, and campaign execution (ATL, BTL & digital)
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margins, and profitability management
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently for branch visits and market coverage

Pay: Rs330,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month
