Head of Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead long-term planning for procurement, production planning, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functions.
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Develop strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and compliance.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.

3. Demand Planning & Inventory Management

• Lead demand forecasting and supply planning processes.
• Optimize inventory levels to reduce holding costs and stock-outs.
• Implement inventory control systems and KPIs.

4. Warehousing & Logistics

• Oversee warehouse operations and distribution network.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Optimize transportation costs and logistics performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

5. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop supply chain team members.
• Set KPIs and performance targets.
• Build a high-performance and collaborative culture.

6. Financial & Performance Management

• Prepare and manage supply chain budgets.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, procurement savings, and logistics costs.
• Provide regular reports to senior management.

7. Risk Management

• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure business continuity planning.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

Pay: From Rs600,000.00 per month
