Priyagold Biscuits, a ₹3,000+ crore FMCG organization with 10 manufacturing units across 7 locations , is seeking an experienced Head – Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end supply chain planning, production forecasting, dispatch management, and logistics digitization.

This is a strategic and execution-heavy leadership role , responsible for planning and dispatching large-scale volumes across multiple factories, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and technology-driven process optimization.

• Develop state-wise and SKU-wise demand forecasts using historical sales data and growth trends.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Factory Planning teams to convert forecasts into production plans .
• Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through data analysis and AI-driven insights.

• Plan and manage dispatch operations across 10 factories located in 7 different locations.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement, loading, and delivery across all markets.
• Oversee annual dispatch planning for ₹3,000+ crore worth of goods .
• Optimize route planning, vehicle utilization, and freight costs.
• Monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance and resolve bottlenecks proactively.

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle requirements based on dispatch schedules.
• Coordinate with transporters to ensure availability, cost efficiency, and reliability .
• Evaluate and onboard transporters based on performance, cost, and service levels.
• Track vehicle movement and delivery timelines to reduce transit delays and claims.

• Lead the digitization of SCM and logistics processes using modern tools and platforms.
• Implement and manage bidding, tracking, and logistics management software .
• Drive system-based dispatch planning, transporter billing, and real-time tracking.
• Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to enhance SCM workflows and reporting.

• Actively work on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for supply chain, dispatch, and inventory modules.
• Design dashboards, MIS reports, and control sheets using advanced Excel .
• Leverage AI tools for forecasting, exception handling, and operational decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and system discipline across teams.

• Lead and manage a team of 15–20 SCM, logistics, and planning professionals .
• Define clear roles, KPIs, and accountability across the SCM function.
• Train and upskill the team on systems, analytics, and AI-based tools.
• Establish SOPs, review mechanisms, and escalation frameworks.

• Work closely with Sales, Factory Heads, Finance, IT, and Commercial teams.
• Align dispatch priorities with sales commitments and production realities.
• Support finance teams with freight cost control, transporter billing validation, and audits.

• Strong expertise in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, and Dispatch Management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Experience with logistics bidding platforms and tracking software
• Practical application of AI tools in daily SCM operations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

• 12–18+ years of experience in SCM / Logistics / Planning , preferably in FMCG
• Experience handling large-scale, multi-location manufacturing and dispatch operations
• Proven track record of managing high-volume dispatches in a complex supply chain
• Experience leading teams of 15+ members
• Engineering / MBA / relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
