Head of Underwriting – General / Non-Motor Lines

We are hiring Head of Underwriting to lead our Non-Motor / General Lines portfolio (Property & Fire, Liability, Marine, Engineering, Credit, Travel, etc.). This role is responsible for driving underwriting discipline, profitability, and product development while leading a high-performing underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Underwriting Department
• Ensure technical profitability and compliance with underwriting standards
• Assess risks and provide quotations across all General Insurance lines
• Work closely with Business Development, clients, brokers, and Risk Engineers
• Set, monitor, and report KPIs to management

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate with ACII / AIII / FIII (mandatory)
• 20+ years’ experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
